Saint VIncent

Saint Vincent, a deacon of early Christianity and Patron Saint of Lisbon, remained steadfast in his faith during persecution in the 4th century. Though martyred in Spain, his story became part of Portugal.
Legend tells that a raven guarded his body — a symbol of protection and sacred watchfulness that endures as an emblem of Lisbon.
