Eagle - Symbol of St John in a Circle

 In the Gospel of Matthew, from the page of the four evangelists, St. John is an eagle that represents spiritual vision and Christ's divinity. The eagle soars to heaven reflecting John's vision of Christ's divinity and eternal life.
