Each-Uisce- Legend & Folklore

In Irish folklore, the Each-Uisce was a shape-shifting water spirit that could appear as a beautiful and alluring horse. Like the Scottish Kelpie, it lured the unwary toward the water — yet the Each-Uisce was said to be even more dangerous, haunting not only rivers and lakes, but the wild Irish seacoast itself.

Part horse and part creature of the deep, it became one of the most feared and mysterious beings of Celtic legend.
