Celtic Canine - Legend & Folklore

In Irish legend, dogs were both loyal companions and mystical guardians — symbols of courage, protection, and the bridge between the human and supernatural realms.

Inspired by Celtic manuscript art, this design reflects the flowing interlace and sacred animal imagery associated with early Irish illumination. The dog on the reverse is adapted from imagery in the Book of Kells.
