Canon I - Preliminaries

Inspired by the Eusebian Canon Tables in the preliminaries of the Book of Kells, this piece enlarges the tiny human figures hidden within the illuminated columns of Canon I Folio 2r. Four intricately painted figures are brought forward from the manuscript’s elaborate architecture, revealing details easily overlooked on the original page.
